Selayar Island is a small island located in Selayar Regency, South Sulawesi. This district is an island district with 95 percent of the area is water. The remaining 5 percent is made up of 123 islands with 62 islands that have been inhabited. Selayar district capital is the City of Fort. Travel to the island Selayar takes about 10 hours from the city of Makassar.

Atolnya form a coral reef with various species of marine plants are very beautiful that as many as 261 species are known to exist. This atoll is formed from the submerged mountain about 2,000 feet below sea level .. All are beautiful coral reefs and relatively still utuh.Semua it will give an amazing experience, especially for fans of divers or dive. In the sea Takabonerate can still be found rare species such as flatworms, nudibranchs, shrimp, fish, crocodiles, turtles, squid, at almost every point dive. The landscape was very exotic with a vast expanse of white sand and clear sea water tub turquoise crystals.
