BAJOE, TRADITION OF HUMAN SEA

If you have the opportunity to visit Togean Islands National Park , Central Sulawesi it is possible to see a row of floating houses or settlements that stand on the surface of the shallow seas around the islands. That settlement Bajoe tribe known as the man once rafter sea ocean archipelago .Bajoe tribe born and live in the sea . They have a toughness to the seas as part of the history and identity. Although this time , many tribes that live on land Bajoe but the rate dependence on the sea is not yet lost . The next generation of tribal Bajoe still be friends and play with the sea , they live together and fed to the marine environment . Pervasive and inherent in their daily lives on custom - tradition and local wisdom to manage marine ecosystems in any part of the archipelago , even to neighboring countries .The main livelihood Bajoe tribe is looking for fish in a way that is still fairly traditional , such as fishing , archery , and catch fish.
